Tom "Junior" Davis

Tom “Junior” Davis, age 81, of Winder, GA, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. During his life, he was a member of Freedom Fellowship Church and the owner of Davis T.V. and Appliance. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Daisy Odell Cheatham Davis; his son, Tom Davis, Jr.; and a grandson, Thomas Davis III. Survivors include his wife, Tiera Turnbull Davis of Winder; five sons, Reed Davis of Colbert, GA, Ned (Debbie) Davis of Statham, GA, Barry (Kathy) Davis of Statham, Roger (Dee Dee) Davis of Statham, and Kim Davis of Winder; three daughters, Cherry (Kenny) Bishop of Statham, Chyrl (Terry) Knight of Statham, Cindy (Sonny) Quick of Statham; two brothers, Eddie Davis of Bogart, GA and Larry Davis of Nicholson, GA; a sister, C.J. Browning of Danielsville, GA; 22 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and three great great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-9:00 pm Friday, April 19, 2013 at Smith Funeral Home, Winder. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 20, 2013 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Reverends Ned Davis and Billy Driskell officiating. The burial will follow the service at Barrow Memorial Gardens, Winder. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Freedom Fellowship Church, 303 First Street, Statham, GA 30666. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
