Troy Thomas Baughcum, Sr.

Troy Thomas Baughcum Sr., age 88 passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025. He was born on August 29, 1937 in Union Point, GA to the late Otis and Beatrice Baughcum. He has lived in Winder for the last 61 years. Troy was a carpenter by trade and was retired from the Winder Housing Authority. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Hoschton, GA. Troy loved spending time with his family. In his spare time you could find him watching wrestling.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his daughter Donna Baughcum Doster.

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years Audrey Mae Baughcum; son, Tommy (Pamela) Baughcum, Jr.; daughter, Vickie (Wendell) Taylor; grandchildren: Josh (Courtney) Baughcum, Zach Baughcum, Amanda Rider, and Michelle (Brad) Hill; eight great grandchildren; and special nephews: Don Everett and Dan Arndt.

A Visitation will be held Monday, September 22, 2025 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, Georgia 30680. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 11:00 am in Smith Memory Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Appalachee Baptist Church, 1599 Atlanta Hwy NW, Auburn, Georgia 30011.
