Mrs. Murphy was the daughter of Wannie and Zelma Belcher Chapman and was the widow of the late Carl Murphy. Mrs. Murphy was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church, Oxford, Ga.
Survivors include her children; Glenn and Michael Murphy; sisters; Nola Gilbertson, Norma Sanders, Marie Zoog; 4 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Friday December 28, 2018 at Macedonia Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church Friday from 1-2:00pm.
