Willie Stancil Etheridge Sr.

Willie Stancil Etheridge Sr., age 73 of Winder, passed away Saturday, July 02, 2016. Willie was a native of Dacula and a graduate of Dacula High School. He was a member of The Winder First Baptist Church. Willie was a proud Mason and a Member of Winder Masonic Lodge #333, where he was also a Past Master. He was a veteran and served his country in The US Army and The GA National Guard. Willie retired from Parmalat Atlanta Dairies as a delivery driver. He was preceded in death by his father, Jonah Etheridge and a brother, Roger Etheridge. He is survived by his wife, Ann Rockmore Etheridge; two sons, Bill and Chris Etheridge of Winder; his mother, Nell Canup Etheridge of Winder and a sister, Barbara McDaniel (Jackie) of Winder. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 6:00PM until 9:00PM at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Barrow Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to The Georgia Masonic Children’s Home in memory of Willie.
