Jack is survived by his wife Connie Holcombe Smith of 59 years, daughter, Patricia (Reed) Gunderman, grandson, Ben Harbin, brother Alfred Smith, and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by son, Stephen Wayne Smith, mother and father Green Smith and Willie Mae Smith, brothers Woodford Smith and Thomas (Cotton) Smith. Jack was a loving father, husband, grandfather and a friend to all. He loved life and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 8, 2015. The funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home chapel on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 2:00pm. Jack will be laid to rest at Barrow Memorial Gardens.
