Mrs. Ivey was a skilled florist with Flowers by Jim. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Preston Ivey; and parents, Carlton Brown and Emma Savage Brown.
Mrs. Ivey is survived by her loving son; Douglas (Debra) Ivey; three grandchildren; Christie England, Shannon Ivey, and Mandi McCloud; six great-grandchildren also survive.
The Funeral Service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atl. HWY SE Winder, GA 30680, with Revs. Joel Shadburn and John Briscoe officiating. Burial will follow the service at Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
