Zachary Matthew Lovinggood

Zachary Matthew Lovinggood, 19 of Hoschton, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2026. He was a Christian with a loving heart and was proud of being the first born in his family generation, leading his siblings and cousins in the way they should live. Zach was lovingly known by his family as Bubba, he was the guy that his family and friends knew they could go to when they needed a helping hand. Zach was a 2025 graduate of Winder-Barrow High School, where he was an offensive lineman for the Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs. He loved to cook and serve others, which made him perfect for his role as manager for Papa Johns at their location in Braselton, he had an infectious smile that made everyone want to love him.

Zach is survived by his mother, Jennifer Lovinggood McCoy of Hoschton; his siblings, Jackson Montgomery and Olivia McCoy of Hoschton; his grandparents, Joey and Del Lovinggood of Winder and Lynn Bischoff (Jon) of Wetumpka, AL; and his aunts and uncle: Emily Peña (Daniel) of Wetumpka, Tiffany Johnson of Bethlehem and Matthew (Shelby) Lovinggood of Winder. He was preceded in death by his cousin, Colbie Lovinggood.

A celebration of Zach’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 8, 2026, in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until service hour.
