77 years. Passed away peacefully at the Hospice Residential Home on Thursday, June 23, 2011, after a long battle with cancer. Assaf will be sadly missed by his brothers Salim Chibani & his late wife Josephine (1997), Akl (Al) Chibani, John Chibani & his wife Paullette and their families. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Georges & Rinjus Chibani and his sisters Amine El-Ahmar (nee Chibani-2007) and Labibi Chibani (1991). Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (519) 254-3223 on Sunday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the Anderson Memorial Chapel on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 10 a.m. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery, LaSalle.
