Charles Alfred King

Passed away suddenly but peacefully, with family at his side on October 15th, at the age of 86 years to be with his Heavenly Father. Most gracious and loving husband and best friend to his wife June for 62 years. Most Precious friend and loving father of Barry, David, Timothy, Wendy and precious grand daughter Heather. Most loving brother to Ruth Tong and sister Grace and Frank Hollerhead. Loving brother-in-law to Clara. Loving Grandfather to 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Special uncle to Susan and Scott Warnke and Mark Bradford of Rochester Michigan. Very special brother-in-law to Edna (predeceased) and Allan Bradford of Rochester Michigan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be very sadly missed by his loyal companion and friend, Pet Suzie. Charles was a baratone soloist, music director and song leader during the 1950's for Youth For Christ. Charles Served in the Exxex Scottish Regiment during WWII. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. The Family will receive visitors on Monday, October 18th, 2010 from 4-7p.m. at the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home (1969 Wyandotte Street E. 519-252-5711) where a funeral service will take placeon Tuesday, October 19th, 2010 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Canadian Hearing Society.
