MY deepest sympathy to you and your family Darren was a great guy and a very good friend We both worked at Steak  N' Burger. He was my best man at my wedding and godfather to my two children. My deepest sympathy to your family.I worked with Darren at Steak n' Burger when we were very young. Darren had a wonderful charm about him that made work for me, both enjoyable and amusing. Being years older than Darren, it was not difficult to become friends with him and feel very protective of him.  I am sorry that as we moved on in life, that we did not stay in contact with each other.  Every once in a while I would think about him and wonder what he was doing in life.  Now I am deeply saddened by his passing, he was a wonderful person, funny and caring.  He will be missed by all!

Grief can be so hard during the holidays, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one this holiday season.

Dear Peggy, Greg, Janene, Joshua & family:

It is with deepest sorrow that I send this message for the loss of your beloved Darren. Words cannot express my 
sadness. May God grant you strength & peace in this most difficult time.

I regret that I was unaware of your beloved Bert's passing, as I found out at a much later date. My beloved Patricia was diagnosed with terminal ovarian cancer & we relocated to Powell River, BC. for chemotherapy, so as not to drive in -38C temperatures to Kingston. She passed away on July 4, 2004. We moved back to Ontario in July, 2008, & now live in Forest, Ontario.

I always felt blessed to have had your beloved Bert as such a good friend through the years working with him at Ford Motor. It is very rare to find people in your life such as yourself, Peggy, & your family that demonstrate such unconditional kindness & hospitality, whenever Pat, the kids & myself visited your home. The fruit cake you baked for my daughter, Debbie's wedding is an annual conversation piece, as we always speak of it when we bake our dark fruit cake for Christmas.

I really regret not having been there, when you lost your beloved Bert. You are always in our thoughts.

Please excuse the lengthy letter, but I had to convey to you, my sincere condolences over the loss of your beloved Bert, & now your beloved Darren. Both were such wonderful people.

P.S. My grand daughter Elizabeth knows of your beloved Bert. Whenever she gets in a dumpy mood, I relate some of the humour & experiences Bert told me. It was good therapy as I soon had her laughing & forgetting the instances that upset her. In this way Bert lives on.
