

Passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of March 4th, 2011 at the age of 92. “The Lord has released your restless mind and spirit” Husband of Kathleen for many years. Son of Peter and Eva Hyttenrauch. Brother to Larry (2008) and Edward (2006). Loving father of Ron (Debbie), Gord (Barb) and daughter Barb. Grandfather of Byron (Amie), Jen (Craig), Sarah (Jesus) and Clayton. Great grandfather of Theron, Elyana, Geneva and Reed. Frank proudly served his country with the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War. His career with Canada Customs spanned many years. Frank always had the ability to make people laugh with his curious sense of humour and dry wit. He had a natural sense of wonder and curiosity. He had respect for nature and led a life of simplicity. A special thank you to all the staff at Chateau park Nursing Home who provided kind care and compassion to Frank for the remaining two years of his life. The family will be receiving guests at the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home, 1969 Wyandotte Street East, Windsor, on Monday March 7th, 2011 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Windsor Veterans Service is planned for Monday March 7th, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Walter D. Kelly Chapel on Tuesday, March 8th, 2011 at 11 a.m. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Windsor Essex County Humane Society.
