Fred Kwong Tso Siu

Passed away peacefully on February 5th, 2017 in his 91st year at Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus. Beloved husband of Helen of 60 years. Devoted and loving father of Leslie (Giovanni) Ferrazzo, Rory (fiancée Myra), and Al (Irene). Proud grandfather (Yeh Yeh) to Caitlin, Kirstin, Jillian and Leah. Cherished grandfather (Gung Gung) to Domenico & Maria Rosaria. His grandchildren brought him smiles and the most joy. Dear brother of Dr. Kenneth Siu (Mary) of Mountain View, Missouri, Patsy Sun (Jeffrey) of Hong Kong, and Margaret Chan (Kenneth) of Markham, Ontario. Dear brother-in-law Dr. Colin Wong (Angelina), and the late brother-in-law George Wong (2016). Also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Born November 25th, 1925 in Hong Kong, China to his father, Siu Hon Kit and mother, Choy Kam Ching. He was director of a successful import export business in Hong Kong. In 1968 he emigrated to Canada in hopes of securing a better future for his children. He taught us the love of travel, discovering new cultures and the game of golf. He was an avid golfer. He was a life member of The Royal Hong Kong Golf Club, and master at crossword puzzles. Cremation has taken place. A private family Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
