Went to be with his loving Lord Jesus on October 10, 2009. Predeceased by his parents Donald & Helen McKenzie, his daughter Karen and granddaughter Katherine. Loving husband of Lynn. Loving father of Kenneth (Christine), Barbara (Sean) and Patricia (Kevin). Dear grandfather of Ashley, Sean, Tyler, Daniel, Nathaniel, Nicholas, Joshua, Zacharry, Spencer and Andrew. Will be missed by his 4 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Jim (Laura) and dear nephew of Gertrude. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Gordon worshiped at Campbell Baptist Church, where he volunteered his time teaching ESL, and was retired from General Motors.Visiting at the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 1969 Wyandotte St. E. on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Visiting will continue at Campbell Baptist Church, 1821 Wyandotte St. W. on Friday, October 16, 2009 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Interment at Victoria Memorial Gardens.Memorial donations to Campbell Baptist Church would be appriciated.
