Dalrymple, James William (Bill) Died November 9, 2010 at the age 82 at Huron Lodge after a long battle with Pick’s Dementia. Predeceased by his wife Margaret (2006) and parents James and May Dalrymple. Survived by children Kelly and Diane Dalrymple (Windsor), Michael and Shelly Dalrymple (Edmonton), Mary Jane and Wayne Wilson (Harrow), Jeffrey and Theresa Dalrymple (Scarborough) and by grandchildren Cassie, Catlin, Carter, Julia, Sara, Krista, Clayton and Kasey. Also survived by brother Charles ‘Bud’ and Jann Dalrymple (Maryland) and Betty Long (Clyde 1998). Remembered by many nieces and nephews and Sue and Bob Poisson and John and Marylynn Bridgman as well as extended family and friends of the old Roseland neighbourhood. Bill was a veteran of WW2 serving with the US Army in the Philippines. He was retired from Dominion Forge, was a senator in the Jaycees and enjoyed his hobbies of curling, cooking (Retired Men’s Luncheon) and snowmobiling. Many thanks to the staff at Huron Lodge for their wonderful care of Bill during the last few years. Visitation will be at the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home (1969 Wyandotte St .E, 519-252-5711) on Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm where a funeral service will take place on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
