Jean passed peacefully, surrounded by her children on Thurs, Aug 18, 2016. Predeceased by her husband Alexander Smith Anderson (2004). Loving mother of Valerie (Sandy) MacPherson, Glynis (Bill) Steel, Ian Anderson and Karen (Brian) Gernon. Grandmother of Corey, Josh, Sacha, Courtney, Logan, Cale, Kylie and Eric.
Jean is survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Jean was a knitter, skilled dressmaker and an artist. Above all she lived her life with quiet dignity. Jean was supportive, humorous, humble and was a wonderful friend to all who knew her.
By Jeans request a private service has taken place at Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre, Windsor. In kindness, donations in Jeans memory may be made to the Hospice of Windsor whose entire staff offered Jean and our family a loving, respectful and most peaceful haven for Jeans final days.
