Passed away unexpectedly on December 27, 2013 after spending Christmas with her family in Windsor. She is now reunited with her late husband, Doug (1988). Loving mother of Barbara Preece (Leonard), Brian Bennett (Donna), Brenda Bennett (John), Diane VanKoughnett (George), Chris Bennett, and Randy Bennett. Joan will be sadly missed by 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Joyce Mohan, and Mary King (Tom). She will also be missed by her relatives and friends from both St. Thomas and Windsor. Donations may be made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada or The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
