Bassi , John Odo died peacefully with his loving wife Lynn by his side on July 19, 2011 at the age of 86. He will be missed by his sister Anne Yaworsky and his sibling-in-laws Gail and Joe Niemi, Barbara and Harley Smith and Norton and Patricia Garrow. John was a special uncle and will be remembered forever by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Irene Green and his brothers Dick and Walter Bassi. John was a member of Trinity Lodge A.F. & A.M., the Moramas Shiners and an original member of the Eze Riders. A special thank you to all the staff on 2 West at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital for all their care and support. His family will receive visitors at the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home (1969 Wyandotte St. East , 519-252-5711) on Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm where a funeral service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 11am. In lieu of flowers donations to All Saints Anglican Church would be appreciated.
