Joka Pistalo

90 years. Passed away peacefully at WRH Ouellette Campus surrounded by her family and friends on Sunday, January 29, 2017. Predeceased by her husband Milenko (1987). Survived by her brother Milan Lozo and his family in the Serbian Republic. Also survived by her niece Jadranka Rados and her family in Kitchener, Ont., her nephews Milorad and Nenad Lozo and their families in Windsor as well as many nieces and nephews in Bosnia. She also leaves behind many friends in Windsor. Joka was a faithful and longstanding member of Grachanica Serbian Orthodox Church and an active member of the Circle of Serbian Sisters "Knjeginja Jelena". She retired from Metropolitan Hospital in 1987 after almost 23 years of dedicated service. Visitation at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue, (519) 254-3223 on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. with Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Family and friends are asked to gather at Grachanica Serbian Orthodox Church, 1960 Meldrum Rd., on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 for the Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m., officiated by the Very Rev.
