Joyce Irene Postlethwaite Hansen

We are sad to announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mother, & Nana at the age of 76. She will be sorely missed by her beloved and devoted husband of 56 years, Gunnar. Cherished mother of Tom and his wife Pam, Richard (Hamilton), Carolyn & her husband Chris, and David (Vancouver). Devoted Nana of Charlie Harrison, and Isabella Fagan Hansen. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother and sister in law, Ted and Lucille Postlethwaite; brother and sister in laws Paul and Suzanne; Art & Mary (California); Elizabeth and Gordon Kirk (Blenheim); Robert and Margaret; Danny and Theresa (Oshawa); many nieces, nephews and cousins in England; and many friends and neighbors. Pre deceased by her father Joseph (1980) & her mother Martha (1970); her father in law William Hansen(1992) and mother in law Karen Hansen (1982); Frank & Else Todd, & Elmer Hansen. Joyce attended Sandwich Collegiate, & she had a life long passion for singing in choirs, crafts and her winter trips to Florida. In an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation, or your choice of charity, which would be greatly appreciated by the family.
