Katherine Kathy Straub-Arquette Kachan

Peacefully on May 26, 2011 at 59 years of age, at the Hospice of Windsor Essex County. Beloved wife of Andrew Kachan. Cherished daughter to the late Paul and Helen Straub and Stephania Kachan. Loving mother of Chris and Dawn Arquette and Dana and Mike Painter. Adoring grandmother of Brandice, Jessica, Michael Jr. and Katelyn. Dear sister of Ameila and John Sinclair and brother in law Jaroslaw Kachan and the late Marie and Douglas Soulliere. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Heaven called home an Angel who always placed herself second when it came to the people that she loved. She was a strong and caring wife, mother and friend to so many past and present that she loved with all her heart and unconditionally. She will be greatly missed. Thank you and appreciation goes out to the Doctors, Nurses and Administration of St. Elizabeth, the CCAC as well as the Hospice of Windsor Essex County for all their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service with the inurnment of the Katherine's ashes will take place at Heavenly Rest Cemetery Mausoleum, 5005 Howard Avenue, LaSalle, Ontario on Monday, May 30, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the Hospice of Windsor Essex County Patient Care Program
