Louise Matteau Chadwick

68 years. Passed away on March 18, 2012 with family by her side. Beloved wife and best friend of husband Ross Chadwick for 48 years. Daughter of Joe (1996) and Kay (1986) Matteau and daughter in-law to Harry (1989) and Catherine (1991) Chadwick. Mother of Sherri and Richard Fortin, Shelli and Wade Schwartz, Debbi and Roger Beaupre. Grandmother of Cassandra Chadwick, Amber Stade (Winnipeg, MB), Alexandrea Valley, Alysia Chadwick, and Kalsey Adjin. Great-Grandmother to Nevea Stade (Winnipeg, MB) and Paityn Valley. Sister of Mary & Earl Ouellette, Roger & Irene Matteau (Ft Myers, FL). Sister In-law to Jerry Chadwick. Adopted as mom to many including Tammy and Michael Reid, Liz Tupling and Denise Shura. Cherished good friend and pasta dinner partner to Lynda Nelson. Drinking buddy Andy Baillargeon. Louise worked at Quality Safety Systems in Tecumseh for 20 years when she retired and started working part time for Central Chiropractic. Many thanks go to Zulma her nurse and friend, Dr. Hamm, the nurses and staff at the Cancer Centre and the amazing staff at Windsor Hospice for all their care and kindness during last few years. Visitation will be held at Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (519-254-3223) on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Wednesday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. Louise will then rest at St John Vianny Church, 385 Dieppe Street on Thursday, March 22, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Windsor & Essex County Cancer Foundation or the Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated by the family.
