

Passed away peacefully at 100 years of age. Beloved wife of James William (1973). Eldest daughter of Russell O. and Una Fay Simpson. Cherished mother of Allan & Verdene Halliday and Keith & Lee Halliday. Dear Grandma of Dr. Holly Halliday and husband Dr. Gabriel Mannarino of Essex, Vermont and David and Kim Halliday, Amherstburg, ON. Special great-grandma to Brody. Brayden. Brandyn, Molly and Mindy. Survived by sister Eleanor Pardo, three nieces and two nephews. In her early career years, she worked for Ontario Hydro in the Merlin office before settling into a full time job as a housewife. After Bill’s passing, she went to St. Clair College to “refresh” her skills. After graduating, she worked at Burroughs Business Machines (Windsor) until retiring. A sincere thank you to Royal Oak Village, especially Ann and Melissa G. and the staff at Aspen Lake for your care and compassion. Also, a thank you to Amy’s Helping Hands caregivers Krystal, Nicole, Karen and Rachel. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (519)254-3223 on Monday from 7-9 p.m. A private family funeral service to celebrate Madeline’s life will be held with Rev.
