

Passed away at 94 years on July 27, 2013. Predeceased by her husband Archdeacon Lester James Patterson (1983), her son Dr. James Patterson (1992), and her sister Jean and her husband Doug Houston. Dearest mother of Mr. Justice Terrence Patterson and his wife Susan of Windsor, Lynda and her husband Eric of Vancouver, and dear mother-in-law to Dee of Sault Ste. Marie. Dear grandmother of Michael (Susan) and Marnie Stickley (Bram), Heather Patterson, Chris Patterson (Christine), and David Patterson (Jennifer). Also survived by great grandchildren Jordan, Madyson, Seanne, Nadav, Nina Jean, Sean and Isla. Dear sister of Mac and his wife Audrey, and Bette Ferguson of London. Madeline Patterson was an Ordained Vocational Deacon within the Anglican Church of Canada, a National Board Member of the Women’s Auxiliary (Sec), Member of the National Pension Board, Diocesan President of the Board of Women’s Auxiliary, Director of the Workshop for Women (Huron College), Deanery Rep. (Board of W.A.), awarded the Order of Huron, Deanery Chaplain, past Choir member, Past Director of Pastoral Care at All Saints’ Church and a former supply teacher in Chatham, Owen Sound, and Windsor. Madeline Patterson will rest at All Saints’ Anglican Church (330 City Hall Square, Windsor), on Wednesday from 10am until the time of the service at 11am. The Rt. Rev. Robert F. Bennett Bishop of Huron Celebrant and Homilist, The Rt. Rev. Jack Peck, and The Ven. Kim Van Allen presider. Interment at Victoria Memorial Gardens to follow.
