I worked with Marion at Ford and she was a pleasure to be around.  She always had a great attitude and a great sense of humor.  May she rest in peace.

I was a raised afew houses away from the Dalton family in Windsor, so I knew the girls and their parents very well. My sister Betty Girard was a lifetime friend to Marion, which included all 88 years of her life.  Remarkable! Marion and her family were part of a wonderful street community and its difficult for me to think of anyone other than a Dalton living at 339 Randolph Avenue.  And so we move on.

Marion was a dear friend of my late wife Jill for many years. They were co-workers at Ford Motor Co. She also became a dear friend of mine over the years after meeting her through Jill. My heart felt thoughts and prayers go out to her family and many friends.

Rest in peace, Marion.  I know you're sitting somewhere in the clouds enjoying a laugh w/Virginia, Lillian, and good old Madge.  Just like you guys did so many years ago.

I always referred to my Aunt Marion as my favorite aunt.  She was so positive, outgoing and always ready for an adventure. We always had a fun time when she was around.  She had great advice for me over the years and will be missed by my whole family, especially her sister, my mother Willa. My thoughts and prayers are with you Melinda.

I was very honored to have been a friend of Marion's and to have been able to visit and laugh with her during her last hours. In the two years that I worked directly with her in the Office of the General Counsel at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan before her retirement in 1984 I can honestly say she made me laugh every day.  I will always cherish the wisdom and humor that she brought to my life.  I like to think that you are now toasting a glass of your favorite red wine with our Ford friends who have gone before: Virginia Wheeler, Lloyd Williams, Nancy Nowicki, and Jill D'Alessandro.  I will miss you my dear friend.

Our Aunt Marion was the most amazing aunt you could have growing up. She was so good to us, and always ready  for an open talk about anything, with her wonderful laugh. My Mom cherished her time with her big sister, and they had a special bond that we felt through her. Our thoughts are with you and your family Melinda.

We will never forget the unique attitude Marion displayed concerning life and friendship.  We enjoyed her company bicycling and later at our frequent meetings at "Sams". She missed the last one by mere hours. Wherever Marion is I'm sure she is toasting her circumstances with a glass of red.
