

It is with great sadness that Beth (O'Neil), Pat, and Marjo Callaghan announce the passing of their dear mom Marjorie Ann Callaghan. Born on May 29, 1934, Marge was predeceased by her husband Edward (1961), her parents, James & Dorothy Hunter, two brothers, Jim and Tom (Marilyn) Hunter, two sisters Jackie (Charlie) Douglas and Joan (Jerry) Carrothers, She will be sadly missed by two brothers and their wives, Bob and Donna Hunter and Bill and Elaine Hunter, her two grandchildren Eddie O'Neil and Amy Callaghan, her in-laws, Anne (Chuck) Holmes and Tom (Linda) Callaghan, many nieces and nephews, her BFF's Sandra St. Louis, Jeanette Stadder and Donna Daudlin and the mystery man named Oliver. Marge retired from Canada Border Services Agency in 1997 after 25 years of dedicated service. She was an active member of Windsor Lawn Bowling Association, a former resident of Sunrise Assisted Living and a current resident of Oak Park Terrace. Marge enjoyed a night out with the girls, a good gin & tonic, Sunday mornings at the Casino, and most of all a house full of laughter. Visitation will be held at the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home, 1969 Wyandotte Street East on Thursday March 17th, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. With a visitation period one hour prior, the funeral service will take place on Friday, March 18th, 2011at 11:00 a.m. in the Walter D. Kelly Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the 4th floor Windsor Metropolitan Hospital Respiratory Unit or Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital ICU would be appreciated by the family.
