Michael William Powers

Born June 21 1940, Michael grew up in Prince Rupert, B.C and passed away suddenly on Thursday 22 nd of October 2015 in Windsor. He was a loving husband and father to his surviving wife Frances (nee Axford) Powers of Windsor and daughter Tiffany. He is also survived by his sister Genevieve Bangay and his three nephews Roy, Ron, and Daniel Fumanti. Michael was a man of many talents and varied tastes, who was always willing to help someone in need, without being asked. He always had a helpful insight when asked and always carefully weighed and respected the opinions of others. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and colleagues. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre - 895 Ouellette Avenue (519-254-3223) on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Veteran’s Service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 29, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. from the Anderson Memorial Chapel.
