

95 years. Passed away on May 2, 2015 after a long courageous battle with alzheimer's. Beloved wife of the late George. Loving mother of Garry and Susan Yakovlev and her husband Mario Rubio. Proud grandmother and great-grandmother of many. Predeceased by her parents Samson and Catherine Corches; her sisters Vera, Kathleen, Marnie, Ann, Lena, and Eva; and by her brothers John, Nick, Alex, and Tony. Nettie was a wonderful wife and mother who enjoyed gardening, baking and crocheting for her family and friends. She also enjoyed playing euchre with her friends and for ten years was president of the woman’s auxiliary at Descent of the Holy Ghost Church. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue 519-254-3223 on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Anderson Memorial Chapel on Wednesday May 6, 2015 at 11 a.m. Entombment Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
