With profound sadness the family of Phil Horn of Windsor announces his death. Phil will be forever missed by his loving wife, Darlene, daughters Sarah Horn, Tracy Levitt (Kevin) and son, Scott Workman (Rosanna). He will remain an amazing “Gumpa” to Maxwell, Brandon and Cassaundra. Brother to Wendy and Arthur (Joan), brother-in-law to Bonnie St. Amour (Ken), Bill Cowan (Pam) and Charlene Curtis, son-in-law to Irene Cowan, Phil was a favourite uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by parents Wallace and Dorothy Horn. During a distinguished financial career as an astute investment advisor, Phil helped further mission statements of the Kinsmen Club, the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918), Metropolitan General Hospital, the Nature Conservancy of Canada and the Essex Region Conservation Authority. He was an active member of the Essex Golf and Country Club and the Windsor Flying Club. Favourite memories include the seasons spent in the North Channel waters of Manitoulin with family on his beloved Beaver Island, annual canoeing trips, world travel with friends and all the outdoor adventures with his cousins. Every day was viewed as a gift and an opportunity to understand the world in which he lived. Phil possessed a deep sensitivity to and reverence for the natural world. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Visitation at the Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre (1969 Wyandotte St. East, Windsor 519-252-5711) on Monday, February 18, 2013 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm where a memorial service will take place on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 11:00am.

Dearest Darlene,Tracy, Scott, Sarah, Maxwell, Brandon, Cassaundra, Kevin and Rosanna, We offer our deepest sympathy for all you are going through as a family. Cousin Phil was the most generous and fun loving family man that always extended his arms and home to all. We hold in our hearts many fond memories we shared through the years. Besides being exceptionally handsome, and adoring his family, the love of his life always made him laugh and smile. (per cousin Phil on our last trip to Canada this last summer.) His legacy will remain as a saint in our hearts. Much love to all our family and keeping each and everyone in our prayers. We love you, The Lovelace Family, Beth, Bob, Morgan, Madison and Zachary.

With our most profound memories and thoughts of Phil, please find our sincerest respect for our time together with you both.

We will never forget the awe and amazement in Phil's eyes when we witnessed a double and even rarer " fresh water" spout on Lake St. Clair and feeling the sting of the sand on our bodies. Phil, quite naturally and without reservation, assumed the role of maestro. Nature was his audience and he was a magnificent conductor.

It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to Phil.

Your influence in our life is felt today.

With all our love to you,

Michael and Heidi Feasey
