Passed away on November 15, 2013 at the age of 72. Cherished soul mate of Al Martin. Loving mother to Laurie Niepoth, Kelly Grondin (Patrick Clark), and Johnna Yarmola. Dear grandmother to Chandler, Meaghan, Mitchell, Taylor, Quinten and great grandmother to Katelyn. Sister to Joy and Piet Goemans. Loving aunt to Christian, Jennifer, Sean and Angela and great-aunt to eleven. Ruth is predeceased by her parents Frank and Doris Gleeson, daughter Mary-Ellen Yarmola, brother John Gleeson and son-in-law Steve Grondin. She took great pride in her job as teacher for the Windsor Board of Education for 32 years. In accordance with Ruth's wishes, cremation has taken place; donations in her memory may be made to the Hospice of Windsor & Essex County.
