84 years. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Banwell Gardens. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Peltier (2019). Great loving mother to Jerry Jr. (Debbie)(Marianne), Gary (Kelly) and Michael (Deanna). Wonderful & cherished Nanny to Adam (Kelly), Jessica (Derek), Ryan (Ashley), Danielle, Ryan Byrd & Emily Byrd. Great grandmother of Zoe, Quinn, Carter and Ava Ann. She will be sadly missed by her family friend Ernie Kemp. Shirley was known for her sense of humour and enjoyed time with her family and at the Legion where she was infamous for winning at the Nevada tickets. In keeping with her wishes no visitation or funeral will be held. If desired, donations to The Alzheimer’s Society or to the Windsor & Essex County Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. Shirley was a great neighbour, friend and babysitter. The day I moved in next door she was quick to introduce herself. I can still picture her wearing a tube top walking around her backyard. She was often seen sitting on her front porch socializing with neighbours or anyone walking by. Family was important to Shirley. And, Jerry was the love of her life.
I will miss the times we had.
