Passed away peacefully on June 15, 2013 in her 87th year. She is reunited with her beloved husband Stanley (2008). Dear mother of Wayne and Edna Sherman of New Hudson Michigan. Loving Grandma of Melissa (Dan) Rose, Michael (Angela), Matthew (fiancée Soleil Gialdi), Amanda, Jeffrey, and Sabrina. Great-Grandma to Darren and Fiona Rose. Predeceased by her siblings Edward “Ted” (Midge) Mayhead, Correen (Ray) Robinson, Eleanor Calderwood and survived by Linda. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Thelma was a long time member of St. Mary’s Anglican Church. Visitation at the Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre (1969 Wyandotte St. E., Windsor) will be held on Monday, June 24, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A celebration of Thelma’s life will take place at St. Mary’s Anglican Church on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 10:30 am with interment to follow in St. Mary’s Churchyard. Donations in memory of Thelma may be made to St. Mary’s Church or Canadian Bible Society.
