(Hammer) 71, passed away on April 15, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Tom is survived by his loving, forgiving and patient wife, Patricia; his children Tim (Kathy), Chris (Dan) and Carol (Eddie); his grand-children Amanda (Geret), Derrick, Alee, Alicia, Nicki, Loren, Calvin, Laney and Edison. Tom is survived by his brother Charlie Martinu (Theresa), his nephews, his Uncle Ivan and many cousins across Canada. Predeceased by his father, Martin Norek and mother, Vera (Karel) Martinu. Hammer will be dearly missed by many close friends and co-workers over the years. A forever Toronto Maple Leaf fan; Tom's biggest love was for his family. In the end there are three things that last: faith, hope and love; and the greatest of these is love.
