I didn't know Tom well but I do recall fondly a trip that 6 of us took to the Mid-Ohio race track. We all packed into a way too small RV and away we went. It was Thanksgiving weekend so of course, we had to have a huge turkey dinner in the RV. Sleeping quarters were tight and of course we all ate too much. What a night - I'll never forget it. Tom was great fun and such a good sport. Enjoy the memories of your Dad, girls. They will help you through this.

Girls sorry for your loss ; Tom was a dear friend we did so many things together when we were young . Class mates thru grade school and high school . Slot cars at his house : Sunday nites racing at the hobby store and in Detroit at home tracks . Building a track in basement on Mercer St . Building and racing go-karts . Trips to Mosport ; Mid Ohio and several trips to Watkins Glen . Tom stood up at my wedding . We were co-workers for several years . I will always remember that smile .

Tom was a part of our lives since I met Dan 35 years ago. Always ready to share anything Dan needed help with. Whether it be racing, fish, snowmobiles, motorcycles whatever he needed.
I have one especially fun memory of a trip to a race with 6 of us staying in one small RV, it was certainly memorable!
He and I , many times would end up traveling back and forth to races together and the only tape he had was Peter Gabriel which we played over and over ! When I hear it now I immediately think of Tom lol .
Sylvia and Brigitte...your dad was a good man that touched many people in his quiet way. Here is just one picture of his friendship.

Very sad to get news of Tom's death. If I am correct, the picture of Tom in his obituary was taken at my house in 1986. The joy on Tom's face was a result of holding my newborn son. He was there to help me celebrate. What a smile. What a friend. What a guy. My thoughts are with his daughters Sylvia and Brigit during this time of loss.
