Born in Glasgow, Scotland on May 26, 1930. Passed away in Windsor, Ontario on April 23, 2015. Beloved husband of Martha (nee Gillon). Dear father of Ann Labombard & husband Allan of Beaverton, Ontario and Bill Jr. of Windsor. Loving grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Bill worked for the Dept. of Labour for 16 years and retired as CEO from the Windsor Construction Assoc. after 20 years of service. He was an active member of St. Andrew's Lodge #642 A.F.& A.M., the Mocha Shriners and Moramos Shrine Club as well as The Order of the Eastern Star. He also served as Past President of the Windsor Scottish Club for 18 years. Visitation at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue, (519) 254-3223 on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Masonic Memorial Service will be held Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. under the auspices of St. Andrew's Lodge #642 A.F. & A.M.
