We grew up next to Thorburns at CFB Cold Lake from 1968 until 1976.
Bill had the most beautiful african violets in there front hallway....and in the summer he had a small greenhouse in the yard for tomatoes and other veggies. Most awesome begonias hanging from the fence.
He was a good man and always enjoyed when he took us to the messhall parties for children with santa.
RIP Mr Thorburn, fly with angels and watch over your Alberta families. Hugs
