Magno Alberto Garavito-Catalan

Magno Alberto Garavito Catalan, 43, of Winnemucca, passed away Monday, July 25, 2011. He was born January 11, 1968 to Alberto Garavito Garcia and Maria Isabel de Garavito in Guatemala. He was married to Maria Guadalupe Garavito for ten years. He lived in Reno, Fallon and Winnemucca, working in construction. He was a Jehovah’s Witness and served as an Elder.

Magno loved and enjoyed volunteering his time and energies in assisting others to learn Bible truths. He also enjoyed oil painting, hiking, gardening and taking care of his animals. What he most enjoyed was reading the Bible and spending time with his wife, Lupita.

Magno is survived by his wife, Maria Guadalupe Garavito of Winnemucca, a son Kerwin Hadrian Garavito; his parents, Alberto Garavito Garcia and Maria Isabel de Garavito; a brother, Carlos and four sisters, Heidi, Marleni, Dina, and Oraldi.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 3464 North Highland Drive in Winnemucca. English services will be held at 11:00 a.m. and Spanish services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Those wishing to do so may leave condolences for the family at www.albertsonfuneralhome.com.
