I was deeply saddened to hear about the recent passing of Ronnie and Jeannie - such a beautiful and joyful couple who will always occupy a permanent place in my childhood memories growing up in Porterville. They both were not only some of my parents closest and dearest friends, but Ronnie was my first "employer" - as a twelve year old in the summer of 1980 at their place in Terra Bella - working the fields, riding the 3-wheeler, and just enjoying my time with a very special couple. They will be missed.
