It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Akin Ogidan of Winnipeg, Manitoba on September 10, 2012. Akin leaves cherished memories for his beloved mother Elizabeth, step father James, little sister Amy, baby sister Anne, father Theo, and grandmother Florence Olotu, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Akin attended several schools; Van Wallenghem, St. Paul’s High, Kelvin High and graduated from Oak Park High School.
Firstly, Akin loved people and his family, next recording and listening to music, sports, video games and working out. He had big dreams and a huge heart. We will greatly miss Akin, he brightened the day of everyone he crossed paths with and changes the lives of many. Our beloved Akin with his heart of gold.
A service to celebrate Akin’s life will be held at 1:00 pm, on Monday, September 17 at Immanuel Pentecostal Church, 955 Wilkes Avenue laying to rest and reception to follow at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.
