It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Aldo Di Martino with his family by his side on December 24, 2025, at the age of 83.
He will be lovingly remembered by wife Lucia, children; Donaldo, Davide and Morgan, grandchildren; Zackary, Isabella and Gianna.
He is predeceased by his parents Maria and Donato Di Martino, brothers; Antonio, Vittorio, Oscar and Ettore, and sister Maria.
Dad was born in Casalbordino, Italy on October 15, 1942 and came to Winnipeg in the 1960s, where he met his wife Lucia. Dad worked construction for many years, until retiring from Nord-Sen at 65. Dad was a hard worker, always providing everything his family needed, and who he loved very much.
While he was healthy, Dad never forgot a face with an uncanny ability to recognize people on the street, that he had met decades earlier. He was blessed to spend the end of his life at home with Mom by his side, every step of the way.
Funeral service for Aldo will be at 10:00 am, January 6, 2026 at Holy Rosary Church.
Donations in Aldo's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba.
