Anna Jane Turenne (Nee Chranowski)
Peacefully, with her children at her side, it is with great sadness that we announce Anna’s passing on August 2, 2019 at the age of 85 in the city of Winnipeg at the St. Boniface Hospital.
With loving memories, left to mourn her are her children; Gilles Turenne, Renee Turenne, Roger Turenne and Charlotte Beaudin. Grandchildren; Josh, Jayda, Jason, Jacquelyn, Jordan, Orel, Andrew, Jessica, Zachary and Kya. Greatgrandchildren; Cameron, Joseph and her sweet little Emma who gave her such joy in her last year with us. Left also to mourn her passing are her brothers Sid (Gladys), Peter (Joy), and sister Betty, along with many nieces and nephews. Anna was predeceased by her beloved husband Andre’, her parents and seven brothers and sisters.
Anna was a stay at home mom for most of her life dedicating herself to the care of her husband, home and children. She was a loving mother to her own children and for many years, the care of foster children. The house was always alive with the pitter patter of little feet. Later in life after her own children had grown and gone, she cared for children as a homemaker till she retired.
A small, outdoor memorial service will be said on Monday August 12 at 10:00 am at Green Acres Memorial Cemetery before interment.

I remember nan from my many years of sleepovers with jessa. One time she had us girls come stay the night and in the morning she made me perogies and chocolate milk, because I was fussy and didn't like eggs or apple juice.
Though i didn't know her as well as I wished i could, i know she was a very sweet and loving lady. She leaves this world a little less brighter without her smile ❤
Again, I'm so sorry for the loss ❤
