It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Arthur Netzel on December 15, 2017 at the age of 98. Arthur passed away at the Concordia Hospital with his family by his side.
He was predeceased by his parents; wife Adolina; son Alfred; brothers Reinhard (Olga), Helmut (Meta), Leo (Melita) and sisters Elsa (Herbert) and Olga (Richard).
He leaves to mourn his daughter Erika (Henry) Penner; sister Lilli Makus; grandchildren Walter Penner, Victor Penner, Janet (Darren) Myhre; great grandchildren Darian Penner, Tyler and Emily Myhre, as well as nieces and nephews.
We would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and staff at Concordia Hospital and also all the homecare workers who looked after Arthur.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017, 10 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
