Barbara Elizabeth Doreen Beck

Peacefully with her family and friends at her side, Barbara Beck passed away Monday, June 15 at the Grace Hospital.

Predeceased by her daughter Debbie Beck, grandson David Burton, sister Maureen and her children’s father Norman Beck.

She will be lovingly remembered by children Terry Burton, Barry (Lorelee) Beck, Laurel (Brent) Lyon, Cindy Beck, Bryan Beck, grandchildren Adam, Jared (Jackie) and Tyler (Katura) Burton. Ashley and Austin Beck, Brett, step grandchildren Krista and Todd Lyon and Landon Cairns, Brittney and Danika Beck and great grandson Dylan Burton.

She will also be missed by her siblings Leo (Jeannine) and Joe (Yvette) Dubé, and her special friends Bernice and Jabez the dog.

Barbara was raised in Plumas, Manitoba. She and Norman raised their family in Charleswood. Barb ‘s life was dedicated to her children and helping her husband start his real estate business.

She was a friend to everyone both young and old. She will be missed and never forgotten.

Thank you to Dr.’s Joshua, Martin and George and the staff at the Grace Hospital for the loving care shown to Barb during her illness.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 19 at 2:00 pm at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd.
