It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Brent Alexander Erickson on July 26, 2017 at the St. Boniface hospital where he lost his battle to cancer with family by his side. He fought as hard as he could with treatment and positive attitude. He will be missed by all that knew him.
Brent was born on October 10, 1964 in Erickson Manitoba. Brent grew up in Winnipeg and shortly after high school he started working for McDiarmid Lumber and worked his way up to management at the McDiarmid Lumber distribution center. He later went to work for the Labor Trades Corporation with his late brother Bradley.
Left to cherish Brent’s memories are brother Brian (Margaret); sister Debbie (Russell); all Brent’s nieces and nephews; relatives and friends.
Brent was predeceased by his father Elwood Erickson; step dad Brian Gillespie; mother Josephine; brother Bradley; and brother Barry.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 12, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.
