Charlie Hired me in 1973 as a Cadet.  I thank him for giving me the oportunity to realize my dream and career of becoming a Police Officer in the City of Winnipeg.  Rest now bud.

Charles hired me in 1967 at which time I believe he was an Inspector.  I always held a warm spot for him as his decision provided me with a career and a comfortable life.  I recall several gatherings in the basement of what I believe was his St. Vital home.  He was a fine man.

Charlie you will be missed.   A colourful character, who loved his profession as a police officer with great passion.   You hired me in 1975 and it was the best times of my life.  I thank you for that Charlie.   I still remember you wearing cowboy boots when you interviewed me.
