Clara Susan Quinn

July 14, 1960 – November 29, 2025
Obituary of Clara Susan Quinn
IN THE CARE OF

Thomson In The Park Funeral Home and Cemetery

In Loving Memory

Following a lengthy battle with cancer, we sadly announce the passing of Susan Quinn on November 29, 2025, with her family by her side at the Saint Boniface Hospital.

Susan is predeceased by her loving husband and life partner Gord and is survived by her children Samantha (Adam), Nicole (Jordan), and Johnathan (Mel). Along with her grandchildren Jack, Laekan, Vera, her mother Maxine, predeceased by her father Johnny, and amongst many other family members including siblings, in-laws, nieces and nephews. Susan will be sadly missed by all.

She was born on July 14, 1960, in Rainy River Ontario. She was a hard-working woman, working for Great West Life for many years. Although never able to fully retire, she had many hobbies that included reading, going to the cabin, listening to music, and watching her kids play numerous sports. She was the best cheerleader and scorekeeper. She spent countless hours at the Fort Rouge and Heather Curling Club playing on her Women’s team or volunteering her time with the junior league. Whether it was watching one of her children play hockey, baseball, volleyball, or football, she showed up with a big smile on her face to cheer us on.

During her free time, she cherished every trip out to the cabin at Grindstone Provincial Park. It was there that she gained so many life-long friendships that still carried on to this day. Other joys in her life were watching her grandchildren grow, spending time with them on Saturday mornings for cartoons and donuts at her house and having sleepovers at the cabin all summer long.

Susan's service will take place at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home on December 10, 2025 at 10:00 am.

The family would like to thank all the staff at WRHA Home Care, Cancer Care Manitoba, Comfort Keepers, and the countless staff at Saint Boniface Hospital for taking such good care of Susan over the years.

In lieu of cards or flowers, we kindly ask you to donate to Cancer Care Manitoba in memory of Susan Quinn.
