In her sleep, on Thursday morning March 14, 2024, Daphne went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at her home at 87 years of age, also known as Sister Lynch.
Survived by her sister Eutie, sons Terence and Ean (Marjorie); and to cherish her memory two nieces, three grand nieces; fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Daphne was born in Clarendon, Jamaica.
As a teacher, but desiring to travel, Daphne left Jamaica and went to Bermuda, then to New York City, next to Toronto and finally settled in Winnipeg in the mid 1970’s.
After leaving banking as a teller, she went to work for and retired from a drapery manufacturer here in the city, sewing; doing what she loved from her younger years. She loved sewing for others, and looked for opportunities to help others with her sewing.
A Celebration Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Truth And Life Worship Centre, 51 Richfield Ave, Winnipeg with burial at Thomson In The Park Funeral Home And Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Blvd, Winnipeg.
