Mr. Davinder Kumar Goyal, age 72 years and longtime resident of Winnipeg, was a respected member of the Indian community. He passed away peacefully at Victoria General Hospital on February 27, 2015 surrounded by his family.
Davinder, loving husband and devoted father, leaves behind his beloved wife Savita; daughters Ritu (Ajay Jain) and Renu (Shailesh Dubey); son Samir (Shipra); and grandchildren Raveena, Raina and Saagar.
Davinder Kumar was born and educated in Amritsar, India. He was the only son of Lt. Shrimati and Lt. Shri Shori Lal Goyal and had four elder sisters. He immigrated with his wife Savita and children to Winnipeg in 1970. He was involved in clothing manufacturing for most of his career.
He was a very kind, loving, helpful and caring person who loved to make people laugh. He will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.
