He will be missed by his beloved wife Karen; sons Doug and Todd; granddaughter Brianna and step-daughters Darcie and Karis; sisters Eileen (Terry) Lysaichuk, Grace Drobot; sister in law Carol Jablonski and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by son Derek and his brother Thomas.
Dennis loved the outdoors, especially being at the cottage at Heckla. He enjoyed fishing, biking, hiking, and curling in the winter.
Dennis had a real zest for life and the disposition of a youngster. His fishing and portaging trips with Jim Portree were particularly special to him.
The Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016, 12:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. at the Oxford Heights Community Centre (Upper Hall), 359 Dowling Avenue East.
A private interment will take place at a later date.
