He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Darlene; children Marie, Joe and Joanne, grandchildren Holly, Jack, Chianna, Katrina and Andrew. Sister Maria, sisters in-law Virginia, Pearl and Lovia and many cousins, nieces, nephews and life-long friends.
Dick was predeceased by his parents Tommaso and Maria Antonia, his brother Gabriel, nephew Kasmier, and brothers in-law Don, Dale, and nephew Dwayne.
Dick was born on October 22, 1932 in Amato, Calabria, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1954 at the age of 22.
We believe his greatest accomplishment was being a husband, father and Nonno. He will forever be in our hearts.
Cremation has taken place. Family condolences will begin at 10:00 am on Thursday March 31, 2022 at St. Gianna Baretta Molla, 15 Columbia Drive followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. with brief time of fellowship afterwards. Interment will occur at 2:00 pm at Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave.
