

Suddenly on October 22nd Don passed away at home.
Don had a lust for life and was always a participant and never on the sidelines evident by the many groups and societies that he participated in. He was always generous with his time and willing to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbours. Don also loved animals and the great outdoors his favorite place was the Lake.
His interests were broad and the jobs he held in life reflected this from factory work, fly in fishing camp guide to his long-term career with FedEx for over thirty years.
Don was born May 22, 1952 in Winnipeg and grew up in East Kildonan. He graduated from Miles MacDonnell and attended the University of Winnipeg where he started his journey as a life long learner.
He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Nancy Fox.
He will be forever loved and missed by his partner Sheryl Redahl; his brother Ken (Lorene) and sister Elaine as well as numerous friends. The loss of his laughter and smile diminishes the world for all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Highway, on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations be made in Don’s memory to The Humane Society and The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
